Simple Example on using PIPENET VISION interface with AutoCAD

SIMPLE EXAMPLE ON USING PIPENET VISION INTERFACE WITH AutoCAD

While within PIPENET VISION's user-friendly software, you may now communicate and transfer files with other software packages such as AutoCAD. Imagine you have the below network and you want to check it within PIPENET VISION.
 

 

1- Create a DXF file:

You may easily save your drawing in .dxf format and then insert it as an underlay within PIPENET VISION environment in order to create an exact copy in the schematic window, using view| import graphical underlay option.

 

 2- Draw the network:

You may set an exact scale with the help of zooming tools and display options in order to achieve the most similar underlay to schematic drawing.

1.     3- Calculate:

After you've done the calculation and your report is ready, you may modify the network if required.

1.     4- Create a DXF file:

Now you are ready to return to AutoCAD, continue the design, and issue the document on the basis of piping discipline.  You may use Tools| export dxf file in order to create an AutoCAD Drawing .

Now you are back in AutoCAD again. If the network does not exist, you can create one within PIPENET VISION and then export the file to AutoCAD. In that case, you may ignore step 1 of this introduction.
